If you need visa to enter Mongolia, you can NO LONGER obtain visas at border points or at the airport due to changes in regulations. You need to obtain a visa before coming to Mongolia. Please apply to the Mongolian Embassy in your country to obtain a visa. If there is no Mongolian embassy in your country, the honorary councils of Mongolia in your country (if there is one) can issue a Mongolian visa.
Do I need Visa?
US citizens do not need visa to visit Mongolia up to 90 days. Visitors for more than 90 days need a visa, service charge is $100. No visa fee is required.
Citizens of European Union countries, the UK, Canada, Australia, Sweden, and Switzerland need visas to travel in Mongolia.
